Svelte and well-focused, with appealing raspberry, grilled anise and white pepper flavors that gain speed toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2024. 435 cases made.

The 2017 Grenache Noir has a unique character-lean and rustic but pleasantly so. Pale garnet, it's reminiscent of Nebbiolo, with delicate red and black berries and notes of tar, earth, burnt orange peel, Angostura bitters and dried flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasantly rustic graininess and dried fruit character, and it finishes with juicy uplift and spicy accents. 435 cases produced.

The 2017 Grenache Noir is beautiful, with plenty of dried strawberry fruit and complex spice and loamy soil notes. This medium-bodied, balanced effort has nicely integrated oak, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 5-6 years.
