The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Reserve is gorgeous. Inky purplish and black fruit, new leather, licorice, dark spices, lavender and crème de cassis are all delivered with serious intensity. Unctuous and ripe, the Reserve also has a good bit of supporting structure to balance things out. This is a terrific effort from Canard.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve offers scents of baked berries, fruitcake and raisins with mocha, earth and a hint of dried herbs. Full-bodied, it is a little hard and chewy on the palate, with fruitcake notes and an uncomplicated finish.
