Named for Islay's Traigh Bhan beach, where the "Singing Sands" hide jagged rocks beneath, this single malt is by turns velvety and rugged. Each sip opens with soft smoke and mellow orchard fruit, but finishes drying and intensely peated, with a flicker of cayenne heat. Introduced in September 2019, this is the first permanent aged whiskey expression added to the Ardbeg portfolio in 20 years and will be available annually in small batches.
