Full of rich baked red fruit that presents as dense and concentrated on the palate, this wine offers teases of citrus that keep it bright and lively, with accents of dried herb and forest floor. Medium bodied, it has balanced oak and tannin that come together harmoniously on a spicy finish.

Big and ripe, with concentrated dark plum and currant flavors, dense tannins and firm acidity. Dark chocolate and cream on the finish. Drink now through 2023. 371 cases made.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Wildcat Mountain Vineyard has a medium to deep ruby color and lush aromas of baked blackberries and rhubarb with notes of tea leaves, dried violets and dark spices. The palate is medium to full-bodied with bright freshness and an upfront hit of ripe fruit, but it finishes with some dilution. 171 cases produced.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Wildcat Mountain Vineyard, which comes from Carneros, is a more earthy, feral, almost vegetal wine with lots of celery seed and herbal notes as well a medium-bodied richness on the palate. It's too green for me, but it's not a total failure.
