Soft and supple in milk chocolate and cherry, this wine contains 2% Petit Verdot. Dried herb, sage and pencil shavings contribute a savory complement to the richness of the ripe fruit.

Containing 2% Petit Verdot and deep garnet-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford is scented of freshly crushed black berries and black raspberries with hints of wild thyme, underbrush and unsmoked tobacco. The full-bodied mouth is laden with youthful, crunchy black fruits and firm, chewy tannins, a little drying on the finish.

A solid effort, dense, chewy and layered, with dark berry, gravelly earth, graphite and cedary oak flavors, supported by firm tannins. Drink now through 2025.
