Its rosy appearance is soft as a dream, and an expressive, gourmet nose lends charm to this blend dominated by wild berries: gooseberry and raspberry reveal themselves in a crisp, silky palate enhanced with an elegant touch of minerality. Food Pairing: Ideal as an aperitif, to accompany tapas, but also goes well with all varieties of grilled fish, beef or fish tartare and fresh berry desserts.

Bright onion skin. Incisive red berry, cherry and citrus fruit aromas are complemented by building mineral and floral accents. Silky and energetic on the palate, offering intense strawberry, blood orange and honeysuckle flavors braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Finishes long and gently chewy, repeating the orange and floral notes.

This pale-colored rosé is open and crisp, with raspberry fruits and juicy freshness from the lemon-zest acidity. It is very ready to drink.

This smooth rose offers open-knit flavors of white raspberry, wet stone and citrus zest, accompanied by a tangy acidity. Melon rind and white pepper elements detail the finish. Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle. Drink now. 70,000 cases made, 14,150 cases imported.

A non-estate wine, the 2020 Cotes de Provence Rose Cuvee des Commandeurs-at least the portion for the U.S. market and upon which this review is based-was imported and bottled on Long Island. It still captures much of the Peyrassol spirit, ably combining notes of strawberries and citrus with crushed stone, offering a light to medium-bodied palate and a silky finish.
